Dawnrider is a new Doom Metal band in Portugal, a country not certainly famous for Doom bands or Heavy Rock scene. Anyway this band will prove they came to put Portugal on the Doom map. They certainly will. Their sound revolves around 70's underground Heavy Rock mixed with classic Doom Metal specially the one made in Maryland/DC. Sometimes it has a Sludge approach and sometimes it is more Rocking. Includes members from other Heavy Rock/Punk/Metal formations like The No-Counts D.O.M. and Subcaos. One the other side we have a great surprise: War Injun's
debut songs on vinyl after a great Demo sold through the band only. The two songs here are taken from their Demo never released before. They are a new Maryland/DC Doom band with guitar player Kyle Van Steinburg from Earthride (where also Dave Sherman from the defunct Spirit Caravan of Wino's fame plays). All Maryland Doom fans take note: Get it quick because it wont be reissued! 617 copies pressed: 27 copies with black and white sleeve, 20 with dark blue and black/white sleeve. The remaining 570 copies in lighter blue and black/white sleeve. Limited edition sleeves sold out!
